"This hotel was best hotel we stayed in during our Japan trip. The room was huge which so good when travelling with 3 teenagers, clothes washing and drying facilities, staff went above and beyond with helping us with any questions. Close to transport, markets, shopping, all key Kyoto sites. I cannot recommend it enough! "

"The property is in great location in Gion which is walkable to a lot of tourist attractions. It’s not too far (15-20 min walk) from the Nishiki market. There is a bus stop around the corner from the hotel and the closest train station is about a 12 minute walk. The hotel itself was clean and having a sauna in the room was very nice. "I had never seen a hotel with all 10/10 reviews before, so we stayed there to see for ourselves. It's no lie, the place was wonderful. The staff really make it special - they are lovely, friendly, helpful, engaging. We stayed there for a long stretch, and it was our favorite hotel in Japan by far.
