Definetely a memorable experience. I had a very comfortable stay. The owner is very nice and speaks English. The location is very close to the palaces.
really lovely traditional korean guesthouse! the property itself was clean and well-maintained, and the owners are so genuine and hospitable, taking the time to show us around even though we were only there for a night. toiletries are all provided, and they even have maps showing food around the area.
it's definitely not fancy holdings, but if you're looking for a comfortable stay at a traditional hanok in a great location, this is it. will come again if i'm in the area for sure!
The host is very friendly and helpful. I was planning for a birthday surprise for my boyfriend. The host helped to buy a birthday cake on my behalf and made the surprise a success. He recommended few places that we could visit which were nearby his guesthouse. The guesthouse is very clean and comfortable, making you feel like you are back at home. Definitely a good place to stay!
Very nice stay. Host was fantastic and very helpful. Very calm and quiet in the middle of busy Seoul. Nice experience staying in traditional Korean house that was also featured in a Kpop music video.
The best part is a home stay experience at the Korean traditional house in a very good location. And the owner is nice.
But the mattress( a kind of styrofoam?) is not thick enough. The kitchen/dining room is too cluttered with many stuff. If they can replace/ improve a few things, it will be much comfortable and pleasant.
Overall I enjoyed my stay! It's a good value.
If you are into history and are looking to visit lots of palaces and museums, the location is perfect. It's a very traditional guesthouse without a ton of modern amenities, but if you are looking to experience Korean life this is a great place to do it. The owners are very nice and willing to help you out with taxis, help with food, and anything else they can do to make your stay comfortable. It is nicely located between two major palaces, with the National Folk Museum and art museums nearby as well. I highly recommend some time wandering Insadong, especially if you are there on a weekend. It's easily walkable.
Beautiful and special stay. We were a family of 5 and were very comfortable in our room. We had a small toilet/shower room in the room which was very practical. The hosts were really lovely, welcoming and helpful. Good breakfast. Great location too. Would love to go back
