This is my second trip to Korea, and this hotel was in the perfect location. Its right in the heart of the downtown Myeongdong shopping area and where all of the food stalls are at night. There are tons of pharmacies, restaurants and convenience stores right nearby and it is half a block from where the Incheon Airport Limousine Bus picks up, saving money on your airport run. There is a small gym in the building (only 2 treadmills and some small weights), and a scale near the front desk so you can check your luggage weight. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Whenever I return to Myeongdong I will absolutely be staying here.

My husband and I had an enjoyable stay at the L7. We liked the room lay-out, the cleanliness, the toiletries (Malin and Goetz!), the complimentary bottles of water everyday and of course, its central location (close to a metro station and the shops and restaurants are right on its doorstep). We only have one suggestion-can the breakfast coupons be given at check-in time? It would be more convenient this way for the guests. They can just go straight to the restaurant from their room for breakfast.

The room we booked was bigger than expected - if you are not travelling as a couple be sure to request for a room with a private bathroom. The first room given to us had an open one but we were able to easily request a change. The area was fantastic, and right by a train exit which made travelling in and out of Myeondong very convenient. The hotel is located on the main street, just off the busy streets of Myeongdong, so we were able to go back to a quiet area. The room was very clean and well maintained, although the bathroom could have had better ventilation. We did feel that by the end of a 1 week stay the bathroom did smell a little stale. The toilet bowl is heated (which is a plus for winter), with a bidet. Staff and service was excellent and prompt - we'd requested for additional pillows, to fix our TV and to arrange for airport transfer back.

Room is quite small for a family of 3 (booked a twin single bed room), however the room is clean and functional. Transportation is good as it is right outside myeong dong exit 9. Very convenient to take the metro around. Food options wise, you are spoilt for choice with lots of eateries around myeong dong. Would recommend Isaac toast (myeong dong cathedral branch) or bakery & cafe for breakfast, yoogane, myeong dong gyoza and the various street foods. The hotel breakfast isn't worth the money though. Overall, good experience, the hotel comes with free flow of nescafe coffee on level 3 that you can collect with the cups provided in the room.

There was no bathroom. Only a shower cubicle and a separate compartment for a toilet. The shower cubicle is a bit small and there were no hooks within, waterproofing wasn’t perfect so the room can get a bit wet after a shower. Overall, the area is quite bustling. You won't run out of options to shop and eat here. The room is a tad small but i figured it's not meant for you to stay and enjoy the room (more for you to sleep) . Early check-in is also chargeable at a cost, which is probably something i am not used to, so we decided to skip and left our luggage there while we ventured out shopping. Staff's attitude is awesome! I would say if you are looking for a location that is easy for drop off (airport bus to here is easy via 6001 and you can cross the road to reach the hotel. when you are heading back, 6001's bus stop is just down the road). You won't be one of those tourists that ends up dragging their luggage to and fro in Myeongdong when they arrive or depart. My only feedback is the room is really small, was tough to navigate with 2 medium luggage 1 cabin size luggage. You almost have no space to walk if you are packing the luggages with all open. It would be good if cleaning can be more thorough during our stay.
