Spent a couple summers here as a teenager visiting family. It's been about 20 years since. Nice little town will definitely come visit family more often.

Excellent
It's a wonderful little small town! Check out the History museum including some creepy items from the Northern State Hospital. Joy's Bakery is a phenomenal place to have breakfast! Coconut pancakes! Cascade Pizza & Lorenzo's are also wonderful!
"Clean and new. I felt safe. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was the breakfast. No protein choices. Not a lot of variety in general. They put out 2 kinds of cereal. They were out of milk for cereal at 8:45. Even though asked to refill it they did not as breakfast ends at 9:00. They began putting everything away at 8:45. This seems like an ungracious way to treat guests. "
"Loved this beautiful new hotel, first class, great artwork as decorations, lovely towels.
Only disappointment was lack of sound proofing between floors! Why, when the whole hotel was so well done??"
Four Points by Sheraton Bellingham Hotel & Conference Center
10/10 Excellent
"Dog friendly - I took a mini-vacation from Seattle to Bellingham to see three plays produced by Bellingham TheatreWorks, an excellent local repertory company that I highly recommend. I sought out a pet friendly hotel so that I wouldn’t have to board my dog. Four Points Sheraton fit the need very well. It was a period of very high temperatures for the Puget Sound area, so I was very appreciative of the A/C (which kept the pups comfortable too) and indoor swimming pool/spa. The room was very comfy and clean. The only drawback was that it was on the ground floor facing the back parking area, but fortunately the window shades included a translucent layer, which brought in light while protecting my privacy. The rate for my three night stay was also reasonable, especially for the high quality facilities. "
