Pioneer Square was established in 1852, though we must say it’s held its age well. Brick buildings never really go out of style, and these days they house all sorts of galleries, shops and cafes. General Porpoise offers delicious cream filled doughnuts of all different flavors. Though a bit on the expensive side--one doughnut is about $5--it makes for a great treat every once in a while. My personal favorite is the vanilla custard!
