"A lovely spot on the water. Our cabin was recently renovated and nicely appointed. The staff were welcoming and efficient. It’s mostly a family place with kids and lots of dogs. An extensive tide reveals a big, rocky beach which disappears as the water comes right up to the property. Highly recommend. "

The breakfast the next morning was delicious (muffin, popover, juice, fruit, boiled eggs, coffee) and a great price! "This is a renovated old fashioned motel but the rooms are fresh and bright and clean-very welcoming. The location is fabulous-walking distance to everything in town. Owners were excellent. The breakfast is continental but it is homemade with special treats and excellent. Loved my stay."

"I will definitely stay here again. The hotel's back rooms face the river. I had a riverview, which was amazing. You can see Pen Bay, the Pen Bay Bridge, and Fort Knox from a riverview room. The rooms are nicely furnished and spacious. Great hotel! "
