" Everything was excellent"

"The cabin we had was wonderful. Kitchen was stocked so well. It was clean and pleasant. However, if you advertise a restaurant and you are 17 MILES away from everything, that advertised restaurant better be open. We were panicked when the restaurant had not been open for over 1.5 years!!! The thought of going back 17 miles on a country road after driving over 5 hours was a deal breaker. "Very convenient location. The main stretch of Solvang is within walking distance. Parking, neighborhood, and everything else were very nice. We had a room in the back of the unit. The running water sound, perhaps from a nearby fountain in the backyard was a little bit noisy. Otherwise, everything else was great!"

"Very nice hotel and excellent location. Happy hour was really nice, and pool was the cleanest and most refreshing I've seen. Lovely! Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast was just standard American hotel--lots of mediocre food. Sometimes I wish these hotels would just contract with a local bakery to offer coffee, fruit, and some high quality baked good rather than loads of mediocre food. "
