"My room was fine for a single traveler - clean, air conditioned and well furnished with a micro-wave and fridge hidden in the wardrobe. It is in the university area of Alicante about 5miles north of the town centre and beaches but regular and cheap trams get you there in 20mts (they also run up the coast as far as Benidorm and Denia).
