The snacks were awesome…. Could just hang out kick back with a cold beer, nachos….the fresh pies were delicious!! Spanish style hotel with the ceramic tiles…Rooms are clean and cozy, love the balcony room with the kitchen - facing the water fountain outside. Great stay…easy to be spoiled by their hospitality…feeding you all day!

Front Desk Staff was excellent, informing us of the taco bar til 2:00, happy hour and dessert pie at 8:00. We were able to park underground before our room was ready and received a call when we could check in. Housekeeping had to show us where to turn off the fan that was going when we entered the room. We received a beautiful tile upon checking out... an unusual and welcomed parting gift. All and all, it was a great experience.

Avila La Fonda hotel is amazing! One of the best hotels I have ever stayed it. It is extremely clean, staff is very friendly, and professional. They exceed in meeting the guests expectations! They offer so many goodies at no extra cost and the rooms offer everything you need to make it the perfect stay. Will make this our yearly destination! Only one thing they need to update is the mattress. The mattress in our room was very uncomfortable and my husband and I woke up with back stiffness and discomfort. Maybe adding a mattress toper can help the comfort and will be reasonable in cost. Aside from that the room, the service, the cleanliness, and snacks provided, just overall the hotel is beautiful and perfect!

Such a lovely and charming stay! This was a beautiful hotel with friendly staff that go out of their way to provide comfort. The room was large, homey and comfortable with a small balcony. They also had welcome cookies and treats, complimentary morning croissants and tea/coffee, afternoon salsa and chips, a wine and appetizers hour, and finally pie at the end of the night! It was all delicious. Would recommend this hotel every time and can't wait to go back again. Parking was also free and convenient (overnight street parking and an underground parking garage).
