The furniture was old and scratched up. The room smelled like old. The beds were very comfortable. I wouldn’t eat at the restaurant. I got sick fm the food.

This is an older facility which sprawls up a hill. It is fashioned in Spanish Colonial architecture with wide verandas and open terraces. Situated on the edge of Old Town San Diego, there is easy access to the state historic park and kitchy shops. There are a wealth of Mexican restaurants and a couple of blocks away several coffee shops. A wonerful Italian restaurant is nearby. The train station/transit hub is an easy walk. The building is older and this shows in some areas. Overall it is clean, comfortable, and charming with well appointed rooms.

Always love staying here. We truly enjoyed our time. Unfortunately, only one of our outlets in our room worked. The others were all broken and our chargers kept falling out. Aside from that, everything was wonderful. Would stay here again. :)

It's ok, The location is good near to old town, shopping and restaurants. The bathroom had a water leak. The gym was supposed to be open at 6 am, but at 6:20 was still closed. The hotel is on a hill spread over several buildings so not the easiest to navigate.
