For the price, it was clean and quiet. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. If it’s super full some of the parking spots were super tight but there was enough parking when we stayed there. Will stay there again!

The property is conveniently located in San Clemente with short walks to outlet shopping, downtown (Del Mar) as well as some convenience and other shops on PCH. The included continental breakfast was well stocked with waffles, yogurt, oatmeal, snack bars, fruit, juices, and coffee as well as available to 10 am, which is an unusual bonus. The property itself is not well maintained with some damage to curtains and wear and tear in rooms. Don't expect expect anything other than utilitarian amenities - no lotion, bulk shampoo and soap. This is consistent with what I expected for a moderate price, near-the-beach surfer hotel. Don't stay here without visiting the diviest of dive bars 2 blocks down, Knuckleheads.

This motel is in great location to see many things in San Clemente and San Juan Capistrano. The room was clean and the price was great, plus free parking. It is an older property, but offered amenities such as microwave, refrigerator and TV. I recommend this hotel for the budget traveler who wants to see the sites, and have a comfortable room, to come back to.

This place looked very nice, and the exterior is lovely. However, when we got to our room it looked nothing like the pictures that were included with the reservation. We saw pictures of a clean refurbished looking room, but ended up staying in an older, dated room. We would have chosen to stay somewhere else if we had seen pictures of the actual room.

The property is cute and the location is awesome. The staff was pretty terrible and they never came to clean our room, regardless of us asking many times. Breakfast is terrible and they only serve the same thing everyday- cold waffles, yogurt and a couple of other foods that barely fits into the category of “continental breakfast”. Overall the place is a 3/10.

We had a great one night stay. Our room was located near the breakfast room, so it was a bit noisy starting around 6:15am- which I understand because there was quite a nice set up for the continental breakfast! Updated room was very nice, even nicer than the photos. Bed a little soft for me, but otherwise top notch and close to everything!
