"Very nice and convenient location. Walking distance to the Sensoji Temple, Sumida River, Ueno Park, Tokyo National Museum, and many interesting shopping streets. Really appreciate the washer/dryer after spending 10 days in Tokyo. Also thankful for the free coffee at reception. Staff were helpful. Do note that there are 2 Koko Hotel Residences in the area and initially we went to the wrong one at Asakusa Tawaramachi!"

"The room was clean, and compact room with everything as described. We had 2 adults and 2 young kids. Having a small kitchenette was nice. With futons out, there is no much spare walking area or space for large luggage. This is in a quiet part of town, when we tried to eat at some of the smaller restaurants close by most were full /booked out. We had to walk over to Tsukiji metro station area for food. The rooms was as described with toaster/small oven, small stove top and fridge. Washer /dryer...

"The rooms in Mimaru Tokyo Kinshicho is large by Japanese standards, the location is great as it is near to metro and rail. There's a 24 hour supermarket nearby as well. Highly recommended."

"This relatively large apartment style hotel was perfect for our short stay in Tokyo. It is close to several metro stations and a large department store, and there were many restaurants nearby. The in room laundry was nice to have, and the friendly people at the desk were happy to give me extra soap for the machine. After staying in two tiny tiny hotel rooms in Narita and Osaka, staying in this large space was a real treat!"

"We stayed at Mimaru Tokyo Station East for 5 nights. We are a family of 5- with two teenagers and a 10 year old. The room had two showers a bath and two toilets, a small kitchen and seating area. There were two bedrooms -one containing two single beds and a bunk and the other with two singles. While the area is not the most exciting part of tokyo we chose it because it allowed us to easily travel to disney and the other activities we had planned. "Great value for your money. Near many stores and restaurants. Downside is it will still be a minimum 11 minutes walk to the train station. Also cleaning only available if you stay 7 days or longer. I love the place is so safe. We often go out around 2AM to go to the 24 hour stores nearby and no issues walking around the neighborhood. "

"loved the size and layout of rooms! it is close to public transportation and plenty of walkable dining and shopping options. only downside is there is no lobby staff to help with luggage transport. laundry is not in the room but not a deal breaker. i would stay here again if visiting Ueno area."

"The hotel is in a great area for shopping and sightseeing. There is a bus stop for the airport bus right outside the front doors. The staff are friendly and helpful, there are several dining options in the building and the rooms are clean and affordable! I would highly recommend staying here when in Tokyo!"

"Very close to the historic Sumo Hall, Ryogoku Station, and a variety of different dining options within walking distance. Hotel had very good staff and cleaning staff, they were polite and did their job. Hotel overall was clean, spacious, and had many services and amenities. I do wish there was a bit more space in the area waiting for elevators on the main floor. It gets crowded when groups come in and block up the area, almost impossible for those getting off or on. There should be signs telling those waiting for elevators to allow those getting off at that floor to leave the elevator first, there were a few times some female foreign tourists would just barge in. They should understand the etiquette is the same as the public transit, help them get accustomed to the local culture, to allow people to get off first before barging in. Not a major deal, but can go along way to help. Overall great place to stay. Suited me perfectly."

"This hotel was an excellent choice for my stay in Tokyo. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, but it’s also very close to a number of different notable tourist spots like the Tokyo Dome, Akihabara, the Ryogoku Kokugikan sumo arena, and more. Service was superb all the way throughout, and it has basically every amenity most travelers could want. They’ll even hold your bags for free for the day after you check out, if you need that. I’ll look at this place first on return trips to Tokyo for sure. "
