"This hotel was decent. Nice looking. But not as fancy as the pics portray. But I would not recommend to stay here. For one reason. When I got there around 5pm to check in. No one was there. I had read this happened to others in a few reviews and I ignored it. I had been up since 4am, roaming around the sacred valley all day, and I was exhausted and dirty. I called the manager and he said he was out running errands and he be back in 10 minutes. Will those 10 minutes turn into 45 minutes. It...

"We had a wonderful stay at Ayllu B&B for three days! It is a beautifully located property with STUNNING views of the mountains in the sacred valley area! The rooms are very large and well appointed- very comfortable beds and nice linens, plenty of windows, modern bathrooms, everything super clean. The owners, Nicol and Antonio, are amazing hosts! "Close to the main archaeological park yet a quiet location. A very nice family runs this B&B and they really go above and beyond in terms of comfort and service. Thank you for letting us store our bags here for awhile longer. It helped us see a lot more of the nearby ruins~including the mystical Naupa Iglesia."

"Joel and Cidelia were amazing hosts who treated us like family. Joel built his home and the sky domes from scratch. We had the wonderful opportunity to cook with Cidelia and have dinner with their family. The domes were awesome. It does get a little cold, but they were more than accommodating with blankets. Be prepared to glamp. The location and views were amazing. We enjoyed beer and a beautiful view overlooking the valley on the mini bar near our sky dome. "

"We had a lovely stay at Taypikala thanks to the welcoming and very helpful staff (especially Louri)!! It was very quiet since it was the offseason. Every meal we ate at the hotel was delicious and we loved our massages at the spa. Since it was the offseason several things were under maintenance including the jacuzzi, the sauna, and the bar. Overall had an amazing time and will recommend to friends and family."

"Absolutamente TODO es increible, hermoso, limpio, original, armonioso, tranquilo, no hay suficientes palabras para describir este lugar, pero por encima de eso esta el personal que labora en el hotel, amables, serviciales, atentos y ni hablar del dueño que es una persona super profunda y amigable. En fin si quieres VIVIR UNA EXPERIENCIA, en lugar de solo estar en un lugar WIFALA HARMONY es la opcion perfecta. Pocos lugares en el mundo tienen esta preciosa energia y la verdad me senti priviligiada de poder estar rodeada de la ENERGIA DE EL LUGAR"

Beautiful mountain resort in the sacred valley

"This was a hidden gem of a resort with a perfect location. Unlike a traditional hotel, this hotel is spread out with beautiful grounds and scenic views in all directions. The architecture and decor is in keeping with the surrounding countryside with clean and well kept rooms. The breakfast was delicious with multiple choices for various dietary preferences. It is literally a 5 minute walk from the train station for quick and easy access to many restaurants and attractions. I highly recommend this place over many pricier hotels and would definitely stay here again. "
