"Great one night stay on the way to Southampton prior to a cruise. This Place has the Wow factor in spades. The main building houses a comfortable bar and delightful multi roomed restaurant in an elegant 18th centuary manor house painstakinly moved brick by brick to it's current location."

"We arrived in Southampton not expecting to stay the night but, after realising we did, walked around hostels but all were no vacancy. This hotel was available and affordable for a last minute decision. Furthermore, we arrived at the hotel 10 minutes after booking online and, a very friendly receptionist greeted us, we had a quick joke and he gave us our room keys right away. The set up of the room was perfect for us, a double bed with a single bunk bed on top, all with personal lights. The hotel is said to offer toasties 24/7 however I didn't explore this. The rooms are nice with eco-friendly products as stated and, when we were a bit late for checkout and our room key stop working, the Maid staff there were very kind and understanding, quickly letting us in to double check we had all of our items. Absolutely a happy little hotel close to all amenities, I'd stay again!"

"It was clean and comfortable. The bed could have been more comfortable with a more up to date mattress but it was ok for the two nights. The only thing I would recommend is perhaps adding some extra cushions as the headboard were metal bars. This would make it far more comfortable to be able to lie in bed at night and watch the TV. The front desk people are fine but a little more enthusiasm when having a new guest to stay wouldn’t go amiss. Breakfast was great. Hot and cooked just right. Wait staff were very friendly and attentive. Overall a great stay for the price. Would definitely come back"

"The staff were amazing and the room was very clean. The view from the room was amazing. The only fault I could give was the WiFi was very inconsistent. Sometimes it was adequate other times I couldn’t get any signal and I wouldn’t be able to stream on the lowest settings without it buffering constantly."
