Strand Palace Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I enjoyed this property. Highly recommend. Staff were professional and property was clean and safe. Bring a US adaptor that fits UK outlets, as all outlets are UK compatible. No early check in, prior to 2pm... but they do allow you to keep luggage there until check in. "
"Stayed for two nights for oasis at Wembley Stadium wanted to stay in the city great location and the staff were amazing everyone so friendly and welcoming really enjoyed staying there I will definitely stop again and probably will next time in the city"
"Generally incredible property and service was impeccable. The only slight let down was the gluten free options for dining, which having an allergy is important to me though this won't worry too many.
The room I stayed in had a door the otherside of the headboard and that woke me a couple of times ik the night. If they could improve the noise on this there wouldn't be any problems at all."
"The hotel is beautiful as it is also a historic building, the service of everyone was impeccable, helpful and so friendly. The rooms are very roomy and comfortable (we got a river view and what a view!), for the international travelers it has dual voltage outlets! It’s close by a lot of activities and landmarks and so easy to get a taxi, an uber or an uber boat! Right across the street by the embankment dock. I’d recommend it over and over for sure. "
"Easy walk from London Waterloo, but also very close to Lembeth walk tube station, lovely entrance way with chilled water. All the staff we encountered were super helpful there was also a good presence of (perhaps management) people ensuring everything was running smoothly.
The room was clean with a great air con system to ensure it was never too hot or cold.
We used the pool twice and was easy to book it lots of available towels, clean changing rooms, and again a presence of staff ensuring it was clean and floors were mopped and dry. If I was going to be picky the edges of the pool there were seals that were a bit mucky and starting to come off.
Probably my only disappointment was breakfast the queue was quite long (9.30 Saturday morning) and then the food was ok, bacon was good. Bread was a bit stale and just felt lacking in some bits. A little slow to refill things especially orange juice and the breakfasts area just felt a bit chaotic and not overly enjoyable.
I would definitely stay again but next time maybe go out for breakfast x"
