"Very kind and accommodating staff. Was able to check me into my room early and let me keep my bags in storage before I checked in and after I checked out while I was waiting to go to the airport. Because the hotel is right next to the ocean the wind is very strong and it can get really loud. I had a hard time sleeping because it can be a little intense/ intimidating at first. "We had a fantastic 5 nights at Lawhill. The staff are friendly and very attentive to whatever you need whilst you are staying there. The apartment was spotless and really well furnished with everything we needed. It is very easily walkable with 5 mins directly to the V&A waterfront via the One and Only Hotel. "I specifically booked for the pool but as it turned out it is rooftop but belongs to a Yoga centre. You can use it but they don’t have sun loungers and anywhere really to enjoy it. Such a shame. I upgraded my room to a balcony which also only got limited sun. "

"We loved our stay at African Violets & in Noordhoek. Our Courtyard Cottage was spacious, in excellent condition & had great views to Chapman's Peak & the coastline. The pool area was fabulous with the same great views and plenty of sunbeds & covered comfy seating. Our hot tub was an added luxury which we used most evenings. Finally, Noordhoek was a good location with access to several fabulous beaches, cafes, restaurants & towns. We'd definitely stay again."

"The check-in process was frustrating. Guests are required to sit outside locked doors while wait for checkin at 3pm CAT. The reservations team is supposed to send guest’s registration link and access QR code but they refuse to send it before time because their checkin time is 3pm. I was there at 11am and had to wait outside the front door while waiting for access and was with other guests who experienced the same infuriating service.
