"Having requested a superior room with a good view, we were bowled over by the incredible views over the pool golf course and miles of countryside from the full length full height opening picture window all along one side of the room. Room was an odd shape and rather cramped. Bathroom needed some refurbishment. Quiet and okay for an overnight stop. Avoid the restaurant which was very reasonable but produced 2 meals which had dried out meat and inedible mushy vegetables."

"This is a large chateau. The owner has been restoring the property for over 10 years but it is still work in progress. He is an excellent cook and the in house dinners are a good choice.
