"This was our first visit to Punta de Mita. We are so happy we chose Ancora, it was perfect! The space was fabulous, we loved our deck & the rooftop infinity pool & view from the amazing restaurant! "This is a wonderful choice for people looking to really disconnect. It's peaceful, and there's a beautiful view over the sea. Rincon de Guyabitos is a lovely town and there are some fantastic beaches a short drive from the hotel. With that said, the property is a bit difficult to find. There's no signs indicating that it's a businesses, nor are there any signs on the property indicating where to go to check in. "We had an amazing stay at Villas Pura. It was a cozy apartment with everything you would need in the kitchen. Very beautifully appointed. The deck had an amazing view and comfortable furnishings to relax after a long drive. Would definitely stay here again. "

"We absolutely loved it here! It’s even better than the pictures. We had a beautiful ocean view, it was spotless, check in was perfectly communicated and very easy. We rented a golf cart to get around and they had a little spot for us to park. But everything is very walkable too so you don’t really need one. "

"All went well. Items that could use some attention would be shower water pressure was very low, partner complained of mattress support (too hard/ firm?) and the Jacuzzi's were never up to the the proper water temperature of 104*F."

"The view is a million Dollar View. The place is clean and the staff was great even through my poor Spanish and their minimal English. The cutely and other Kitchen utensils where lacking a fair bit. "

"Cool little spot firther from any amenities than I anticipated. Las Islitas was a 10min drive and very cool place to hang out. The beach at Kavala was pretty good, a bit less swimmable/beach vibe than expected but great for walking up and down at sunset. Overall nice stay, just a bit of a small isolated vibe. Enjoyed the pool too, though its quite small."

"The property, to no fault of their own, was very noisy due to construction directly across the street which meant we could not enjoy the pool. The manager was not around a lot, I had a complaint about people in the pool after midnight, they were smoking and drinking until after 1am but the manager was not around to tell. I would stay there again, but I would google map the area to see where the construction was taking place."

"Overall this resort is great for families and couples. Food was good with many choices and A-la-cart restaurants (reservations required). Pools were good and the beach was great! I recommend that they provide more beach chairs and pool chairs as they run out quickly. Staff were great and our family really enjoyed the stay."
