"I had a wonderful stay at this cabin! Communication with the host was excellent—he went above and beyond by arranging for his dad to check me in at 1 PM, an hour earlier than the standard check-in time. The cabin itself was cozy and well-maintained, and the view was absolutely stunning. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!"

"Absolutely beautiful property in a totally private and stunning location - the photos do not do this place justice!!! Our host was so welcoming and generous, with the remote location he suggested great takeaway deliveries and we had delicious pizzas ordered to our door, however there is also a local town within driving distance to eat out. "Super cool hotel. The entry drive is pretty crazy at first and it takes a while to get to the hotel up the mountain, but once you are up there - WOW! Nice place with a nostalgic feel. Really enjoyed visiting with my family and will be back again! Thank you"

"The property was beautiful. We stayed in the Family unit, which has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus a living area and full kitchen. Lots of space for our older kids (24 & 16). Coatis and wild pigs were regular visitors, and the location was super convenient to Mistico. Breakfast was at another property, which was a very short drive down the hill. Easy to get to and the staff there were also very friendly. The main downside for the unit was that the dryer wasn't working, but the staff were helpful in drying it for us when we took it up to the desk. "

Excellent stay, meals, and location

"The property is beautiful and we saw birds from our porch. The room is comfortable. It has a relatively big bar fridge. Gerardina is very friendly and helpful and her sister too. They handle the front desk and serve meals. It's a family business. The restaurant has very good food at reasonable prices. It is open on the sides, so you can see the flowers and plants surrounding it. Also, you can see hummingbirds and other birds. The location is excellent, very close to the national park. As for swimming, I went in Rio Celeste - Danta Free River Pool. It is fairly shallow, but a good place to cool off. Just park near the bridge. We also took the Sendero Las Sorpresas and swam there. The swimming area is protected from the current and it's gorgeous. However, the trail to get there has a lot of steps and it is slippery in places, so wear hiking boots."
