"This place is a hidden gem! The rustic cabins are well maintained and clean. A short walk from the cabin and you arrive at the restaurant where the food is amazing and reasonably priced. The hosts were so nice and helpful, making suggestions for our hikes and other options for dinner (although we ate on site 4 times it was so good). "We had the deluxe bungalow, it was very clean, spacious and private. Very safe place that is just outside the small town of Bijagua. Can get pretty windy at night which is normal in the mountains, I am a sensitive sleeper so earplugs and eye covers recommended to help you get a good nights rest. "I am giving a 5 star to the owner for trying to help, but unfortunately only a 2 stars for the property. The bedding and bathroom were clean and good. The description and the pictures are extremely misleading. There are no 3 Queen Beds and 1 Twin bed, but 2 twin beds. There is no internet in the bedroom, and even in the: "main lodge open room” internet is only connected when the owner connects it via his phone (tethering), and I suppose that he must have a limited amount of data as the internet...

"My favourite place by far on our costa rica trip! Cabin had everything you could possibly need, we even made our own dinner one night. Owners are amazing, friendly people with so much knowledge of the area and all the animals and plants.
