Room smelled very musty. Had to have windows open to air out but the heat running too since it was cold outside. I didn't ask, but I'm wondering if it flooded during the hurricane. If so, an adequate job was not done drying out the carpet and it needs to be replaced.

The hotel was nice looking outside and in the lobby. The room was spacious and clean. It was comfortable but the furniture was dated as well as the bathroom. Once the hotel updates the room it'll be great. Hotel staff were friendly. Breakfast wasn't the best. Washers weren't working. The grounds are beautiful around the hotel. The room smelled musty and every piece of trim and furniture was worn. Breakfast buffet was great and the staff was very nice.

Woke up to a half-flooded room. Water was pouring out of the ice-maker in the kitchen. I notified the front desk, but took over 2 hours for someone showed up to turn off the water. I had to empty a pot of water every 3 minutes for over an hour before I had to leave. I suspect water probably leaked into the room below but I don’t know. We were given a new room later that morning. I was informed that no adjustment to my bill could be made because I booked with Expedia. I am kind of disappointed in the hotel and Expedia. Otherwise I like this hotel and the staff was very friendly and helpful, although no maintenance engineer on the staff after hours evidently.
