"The wifi was down during the entire stay and the air conditioner made very loud noises. In fact, I had to turn it off because the noises were almost unbearable. The owner tried to add extra taxes when I checked out although the foreigners staying less than 90 days should be waived. It was deducted only after I told him that I have a visa stamp to prove it."

"Good lord cation for proximity to airport and falls. Property has lovely wooden chairs and tables in the lobby area. Our beds were comfortable. On the down side, the bathroom shower was not clean and there was a large roach type bug in the bathroom. "

"We enjoyed our time at Sol Cataratas and wish we had stayed longer. The jungle setting provided atmosphere and we found the restaurant on site provided good meals and enjoyed our interaction with the serving staff (despite our lack of Spanish). The hotel was a base for us and we were picked up and dropped off on the tours we did though a walk into town isn't excessive and neither were taxi's if required.
