Prague – “City of a Hundred Spires”

Gothic cathedrals, palaces, cobblestoned streets, history, art, architecture, and culture at every turn, Prague is stimulating and fascinating and as an added bonus, it is one of the most economical and affordable beautiful cities you will ever visit. I have been to over a dozen of the world's major cities, and Prague is absolutely one of my favorites.

“A rose by any other name” – Prague, as it is known to most English speakers, is also Praha if your Czech, Estonian, Ukrainian, Slovak, or Lithuanian.... or Prag and Praga to a few other East Central Europeans. No matter what you call it, it’s a place worth visiting and more than once.
The capital and largest city of the Czech Republic and fourteenth-largest city in the European Union, Prague is also the historical capital of Bohemia proper. Positioned in the north-west region of the country on the Vltava river, the city is home to about 1.3 million, with a larger urban zone estimated to have a population of nearly 2 million. The city has a temperate oceanic climate with warm summers and chilly winters.
Prague is home to a number of famous cultural attractions that survived the violence and destruction of the twentieth century. A few Main attractions are Prague Castle, the Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, the Jewish Quarter, the Lennon Wall, and Petřín hill.
