"Lovely homely hotel in the old town at the top of the hill by the castle. Wonderful breakfast choices, staff really helpful with anything. We borrowed umbrellas, playing cards. Loved the complimentary cakes and bubbles, this was a lovely thing to do. If we come back to Lisbon, we will definitely stay here. We has room 21 which has good views of teh peacocks and sea!"

Also, the hotel is located pretty close to the train station if you are interested in going to other tourist places like Sintra or Cascais. The staff was welcoming and explained with a map where to park. They surprised me with dessert and champagne since it was my Birthday stay. The location is very convenient. A quick walk to Alfama, Praca do Comercio & Rua Augusta. "
