"Great place to stay! Great location and staff! "

"Definitely a quirky place to stay. Very much a not-hotel hotel. They took everything you probably don't like about a hotel and made it different. Mostly in a good way. Bright colors in the rooms. Rooms with character. "European quilts on the beds which are comfy and cozy, but we found they tended to slide onto the floor while sleeping. Has a very "keep Portland weird" vibe. We did notice that sound carried easily in the hotel, so not as quiet as it could be. Very little outside noise...

"We stayed there for a cheer competition and it was nice that the hotel was right across the street. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. Our view was a bit trashy due to Portlands finest homeless population but I still felt safe and able to walk around the area to get food. "

"I stayed at Hotel deLuxe in downtown Portland for three nights last week, and it was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel’s vintage Hollywood decor was unique and inviting. My room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The bed was great, and the overall design was well thought out. The on-site restaurant and bar were also excellent, and the location made it easy to explore the city. I highly recommend Hotel deLuxe for a great stay in Portland!"

"Staff were excellent! Nathaniel, Director of food service, was so much fun and so customer focused! He was helping out everywhere! The manager at the front desk was also great but I didn't get his name. Really- all staff were excellent. They seem to really enjoy their work! Beautiful historic hotel."
