"Nice place — would stay again. A bit spartan on linens. A squeegee in bathroom would have been helpful, to clean up after using jetted tub / curtainless shower without relying on the few linens provided. Air conditioning unit (a mini-split) only heated — in all fairness, we did not bring this to the staff’s attention, so could not tell you if they’d have handled it properly. At any rate, the end-of-summer stay was quite temperate and a cool evening with the windows open ‘til bedtime made A/C...

"The ad for this is misleading. Our rooms had cobwebs and bugs on the upper walls/ceiling. Needs a deep clean. But Eric is very nice and friendly. This hotel is inconvienent to get too (rough dirt roads). HOWEVER, we saw alot of koalas and kangaroos on the dirt roads around the property that we wouldn't have seen otherwise. "

"We had lovely weather driving up. This was an overnight stay for our Great Ocean Rd two day trip. It looked lovely on the pictures, but it is so much better. It is not only luxury accommodation but super clean, swiss level! They pay attention to little things, going the extra mile to, putting the x in lux.
