"If you truly want to get away, this is the place. Don’t expect nightlife or very much of a day-life outside hiking to the waterfall or sitting on the beach. For me, that was just enough! The room/hut we were in also had a really bad smell of mold though I didn’t see any. Awesome staff and the breakfast overlooking the ocean was worth it."

"This place is magical! Unfortunately during our stay we were only 1 of 2 guests so there was was no onsite food options or bar. Lots of things needed fixing and water did not get very warm in shower. Pool was freezing. Overall a wonderful place and very clean! Just needs some updating and to have all amenities advertised fully functional! "

"This boutique hotel high up on the hill in the Conchas Chinas neighbourhood of PV is probably the nicest place we have ever stayed in. What a treat to have a spacious beautiful room, unbeatable views, attentive and personal service, great food and drinks. We stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute of it. "Check in was long and the front desk did not speak English but that’s my fault I should know the native language. It took 4 tries to get into our room without success. We were transferred into another room. I’ve stayed in Neuvo Vallarta and expected the ocean to look brown and mucky. Not here. The water is blue but the current is strong. There are no beach chairs but you’re literally steps away from the ocean. It was around $400 pesos to cab it into the romatica and malecon zone. However there is a bus stop outside for 10 pesos. It’s far out of the city but we didn’t mind because it was quieter as we had our 3 children. We did spend a lot of time out of the resort though. The food was ok. The omelet station was always good. The pools are cold until the afternoon because of the sun. Overall I’d stay here again. "
