"Our stay at this property was great. We were well cared for and had the perfect mix of fun and relaxation during our say. The staff were very attentive and friendly. A big thank you to Andre and Antonio for getting us settled. "I had a really nice stay here. The room was clean and secure, the wifi, air conditioning, shower, all worked great. The staff was super- friendly and helpful. They were patient with my awful Spanish and were able to switch to English when needed. Even the restaurant had good food. Not a luxery resort, but perfectably servicable at a good price. Puntarenas isn't the "nicest" town per se but it is interesting and authentic and this hotel is very good."

"I loved the location, the beach, the street vendors. The water is beautiful and warm. We went swimming at night, it was great. The staff was very nice, just didn't seem very knowledgeable. Breakfast was great also. There is a shower by where there park the cars to rinse off from the ocean."

Very nice walk in front to nice restaurants. large room, had a room with no windows and it was still OK. Would advise trying to get a room facing the ocean if you are spending time in the room. "

"Never again. We had to leave 2 days early and try to find another place on high season for my party of 8 because of over booking. The service was just terrible. To bad, because the area was great. Dont rent from this place."

Great location resort

"We first stayed at the Marriott Los Suenos twenty years ago. We came twice then and loved it. We came for the sport fishing and were not disappointed. The marina then was small and we had great access to all the sport fishing boats but now it has gotten very exclusive and if you’re not actually on a boat, you can’t access the docks. The hotel was smaller then but fantastic. It has gotten bigger but not better. The staff was great but the tile floors make the hallways noisy and people talking out in the hall woke me up very early every morning. The room was comfortable and we liked it but the food in the restaurants was mediocre. The coffee shop did have great coffee and pastries and we enjoyed breakfast there more than in the restaurant. I wish I had more positive things to say because it has always been one of my favorite places. We went fishing, had a great time and did catch some fish but I miss the old Los Suenos. It’s such a great location and a great place to fish that I guess the change is inevitable"

"Fantastic view. Lovely pool with view. Restaurant had a view, was convenient for free buffet breakfast. We also had a fabulous dinner. Room was cosy. Morning wake up by Howler monkeys in the valley."

"Best resort stay of my life! The staff are wonderful people, that’s are patient and very attentive. The spa was devine and they even accommodated my pregnancy with a prenatal message. The vegan options for food are plentiful and all the vegan dishes we had were heavenly. The beach is quiet, clean, and private. We stayed in the beach front bungalow, and woke up to a view of the ocean every day which was very special. The other guests are friendly and respectful. The yoga classes were lovely and the studio space is insanely gorgeous with an ocean view and a cool breeze. This a little piece of paradise. Can’t wait to return!"
