"WOW, I absolutely loved my stay in this hotel! I travelled alone, but the whole staff made me feel so welcome and relaxed. The two daughters (around my age) were really helpful, regarding practical 'stuff'; and I really appreciated their enthusiasm and support regarding me climbing the Gran Paradiso summit! The breakfast is incredible! Luckily all the hours of walking evened it out calory wise ;). Hotel Herbetet is located in beautiful and very quiet Valnontey, ideal starting point for many...

"Amazing place. We were greeted by the super-friendly staff even before we entered the hotel. We were looking with our kids at their cows in the pasture, and the owner(?) came out and gave our kids food to feed the cows. It was a great start, and it only got better from there. The room was very spacious and clean, the food was amazing, and the location is perfect for hiking in the area. It was simply a wonderful experience. "

"Such a great hotel in a lovely village that gets very little press in the US. They were very nice and gave us an upgraded room. Cogne offered great, scenic hiking and a number of restaurants that were within a few blocks of the hotel."

"La struttura è molto carina , pulita. Bagno grande e asciugacapelli top neanche nel 5 stelle lusso lo trovo cosi. Unico neo le camere non sono insonorizzate e si sentivano tutti i rumori della stanze adiacenti... sopratutto il bambino che piangeva."
