"Wonderful Syracuse stay We had a wonderful stay in Rua 39 centrally located, clean and tastefully decorated Superior Apartment with private balcony. "Our family of 4 loved everything about this property! The location was perfect. We watched the sunset every night from our private terrace. There was a gentleman playing the accordion during sunset that added to the ambiance. The hosts were very friendly and informative. "Great location. We didn’t rent a car so we walked or took the bus everywhere. Everything within Ortigia was far more walkable than we had anticipated from looking at the map. The place itself was super clean and whenever we needed the trash taken out or anything else, we simply sent a WhatsApp message. Super easy and quick communication! Nicely furnished. Because it’s bang in the middle of restaurants and all there is some noise, but we didn’t mind. "

"Room was missing details for a 4 star hotel. Did not have a coffee maker or kettle in the room. Had to ask reception to provide us with two normal glasses and a coffee cups. Smell of damp in the bathroom but other then that room was clean. Breakfast not enough staff to cater for restaurant size. Items take too long to be replace when finished . Indoor pool needs to be warmer as was cold ."

"This property is wonderfully situated near the tip of Ortigia overlooking the water in the back. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping. The property lives up to it's name - full of character and quirky spaces - indoors and on the multiple terraces. The breakfast was very good. Driving guests need to use the valet service which requires an hour lead time to access the car. But that wasn't an issue for us. We really liked this place. "
