The room was clean and functional, but it’s worth noting that the walls are quite thin, so noise from neighboring rooms can be a bit distracting. Another minor inconvenience was the lack of power outlets near the bed, which made charging devices overnight less convenient. On the bright side, the breakfast was excellent—delicious, fresh, and with plenty of variety to start the day. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating, which added a welcoming touch to the stay. We found that noisy parties going on after midnight were unnecessary. The dining facilities were terrible possibly due to the catering being fixated on parties. We dined on the Friday expecting a good meal based on the prices and were served very greasy fish and the potatoes were powdery obviously made from a powder but not correctly prepared. The standard of the food would shame some lower priced greasy spoon establishments.

A lovely old hotel, very handy for the city centre, plenty of easy parking (I had a 6 mtr box van) TBH, the property is somewhat tired, but fabulous really helpful staff made my stay really good.

Think the bedroom could do with a bit of a paint same with furniture and bed was quite hard. But other than that beautiful hotel, can see the water feature in reception and a beautiful back garden where you can see the stream. The hotel has a lot of interesting history. Breakfast was amazing would highly recommend that. Thanks again for making our stay worth it.
