We felt the room was a bit tired looking although we did notice decorating was in progress at the hotel. I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast. For such a high class hotel, tin tomatoes were not acceptable & eggs cooked by a member of staff while you wait should have been offered, not a tray full already cooked & left to go hard. The following day we stayed at a hotel at Cape Town airport where we had a fantastic breakfast with all fresh produce cooked to order included in the price of the room which was a lot cheaper than the Hilton at Gatwick.

Very convenient for Gatwick South terminal as there is a covered walkway between the hotel and the terminal building - about 3 minutes walk. Hotel was very good. Staff helpful & friendly. Restaurant food also good and not unreasonably priced.

Stayed one night pre flight - the date we booked it was very good value compared to other hotels at Gatwick South. Much more space than the capsule hotels. Only downsides were that the drinking glasses in the room were quite dirty and the tea and coffee had not been replenished (only mint tea and decaf coffee)

Great location and facilities were good. Food was very over priced - I ordered the ceasar salad and there was far too much Parmesan and not enough chicken which was a paid for extra. THere was noise coming from another room at 2/3am. I called for some help and initially they denied that there was noise but eventually agreed and went to assist but I'd hope this would be picked up.
