With so many amenities on site, there is very little reason to ever leave the Tuscan-themed Peppermill resort. Spend your days exercising in its state-of-the-art gym, swimming in one of its two pools and pampering yourself in the 33,000-square-foot (3,000-square-meter) spa. Then gamble, dine, drink and listen to live music in the evening.
Peppermill was first founded as a coffee shop and lounge in Reno in 1971 and expanded into the world of gaming in 1980, opening its own casino. Today, visit the brand’s several operations across the state, including a restaurant and lounge in Las Vegas and the Western Village Inn and Casino in Sparks.
The resort has been praised for its wide range of gaming amenities. Choose between about 1,500 slot machines, which range from classic single-player options to the latest modern releases. If you want to play for higher stakes, hit the High Limit Slot Lounge.
Take a seat at one of the casino’s 48 gaming tables, where friendly dealers oversee the action. Select from classic casino table games, such as blackjack, craps and roulette, and less common games, such as fortune pai gow poker, let it ride and pai gow tiles.
When you get hungry, sit down for a meal at one of the casino’s on-site restaurants. Sip coffee and nibble pastries at all-day cafés, feast at a rainforest-themed buffet or opt for high-end Asian, Italian or steakhouse dining.
Let the fun continue well into the night at one of the casino’s many bars and lounges. Watch baseball, racing, football and other sports on the high-definition screens of the Sports Bar, sip tropical cocktails in the Banyan Bar or listen to live music at the Terrace Lounge. If you feel like dancing, don your finest gear and head for Edge Nightclub.
Find the Peppermill about a 10-minute drive south of Downtown Reno. Local buses also run between Downtown Reno and the casino. Use the free on-site parking available to guests and visitors.
