"Lovely modern hotel. Nice bar and restaurant. We weren't very hungry when we arrived but wanted something to eat. The selection of sandwiches was good and the ones we had were very tasty. Good selection of food at breakfast. Hotel was approx 35-40 minutes from the centre of Edinburgh, with a few things to look at along the way. There are bus stops nearby, but we choose to walk. All the staff we had dealings with were very friendly and helpful"

"It was a good short visit , the best thing of the hotel is location. I am extremely thankful to one of the staff members ( dont know the name ; but she was cleaning the room and dining area in afternoon), she has such a good heart, guided me, helped with phone charger, told me how to get around the city. "We had a great two night stay at the Ravelston House Hotel. Room was very comfortable with an excellent en suite. Tea and coffee provided and the included breakfast was also very good. Bar menu was good, can recommend the haddock. Easy links in and out of the city by very frequent buses which stop within a few yards of the hotel in either direction. We’d definitely stay there again. "
