"The property was quiet and secluded but not far enough away from local restaurants (Cottonwood and Clarkdale) and sightseeing to be a challenge. We had a room on the backside with a great view of the valley and Tuzigoot National monument- well worth visiting. The hotel decor was eye-catching with its Hopi theme (Taawaki means "House of the Sun" and the gift shop had many artistic offerings. Feedback for the hotel: The complimentary continental breakfast had numerous fresh baked good for a substantial breakfast and everything was excellent. We'd suggest it start earlier than 7AM. The room was very clean and the numerous pillows were a nice touch. The only suggestion we'd make here is that because the bathroom fan (which was really loud- IE: hard to hear the TV with the door open...) came on with the light- separate the fan and light into 2 switches. If there are 2 guests, the fan is loud enough to wake the sleeping one up in the middle of the night. Other excellent amenities- there are 4 level 2 Chargepoint EV chargers that make it easy for an overnight charge and they are complimentary. Be aware in order to plug in you must use a credit card, but there were no charges to us each morning after we used them. All in all- a relaxing place for adults. It's a new facility so there is no pool or outdoor amenities. (Worked for us) The staff, cleanliness and service were top notch. We'd go back. And the price was competitive."

"The rooms were clean and the property was well maintained. The beds were comfortable. An upgrade in towels would have made the rooms that much nicer in general. Unfortunately, the hot tub wasn't much warmer than the actual pool and had a smell, so it's not been maintained properly. The breakfast was good and had a good variety, which is always a nice surprise. The change from Saturday to Sunday's breakfast was also nice with adding the biscuit and gravy, but the biscuits were cold and there wasn't a way to warm them up. A microwave would be nice in there. Overall 4+"

"Honestly, it's like walking from a current timeline straight in to the past! Once you walk through the doors and start looking around, they have kept the aesthetics AND much of the actual decor and such...giving a historic feel. It's beautiful and inviting and the staff was absolutely friendly and accommodating. Obviously, there may be a few things off and on, noticeable things needing some attention in the rooms...we had a fabulous time and beds were comfy. I will stay here again! "
