Downside is that we were on the bottom floor and could hear all the walking above us and on stairs. Noisy neighbors talking right outside our window at 1am. Perfect place to stay for 1 night before heading into Yellowstone. Wish they had a little more variety at breakfast."

"The Big Rock was in town but not in high traffic, walking distance to restaurants, a grocery market. It was clean, comfortable and the kitchenette was everything we needed to cook a simple meal. The view was great and the table and chairs on the common patio area was appreciated. A bonus was having an elk eating in the grass right next to the hotel!"

"It started off with my mistake - booking a room for three and I misread the site - only one king bed for 2 adults and an 11 yr old. The (exhausted) woman at the desk caught the error and found us a room with two beds. The room was clean quiet and very comfortable. The property looks modest, the typically motel style of western America but it was updated well. Do not let looks deceive you- this place won our hearts with the staff. BTW this is tourist country and tourist season so finding a gem like this is really special"
