Golf Hotels in Paquera, Puntarenas Province

"We first stayed at the Marriott Los Suenos twenty years ago. We came twice then and loved it. We came for the sport fishing and were not disappointed. The marina then was small and we had great access to all the sport fishing boats but now it has gotten very exclusive and if you’re not actually on a boat, you can’t access the docks. The hotel was smaller then but fantastic. It has gotten bigger but not better. The staff was great but the tile floors make the hallways noisy and people talking out in the hall woke me up very early every morning. The room was comfortable and we liked it but the food in the restaurants was mediocre. The coffee shop did have great coffee and pastries and we enjoyed breakfast there more than in the restaurant. I wish I had more positive things to say because it has always been one of my favorite places. We went fishing, had a great time and did catch some fish but I miss the old Los Suenos. It’s such a great location and a great place to fish that I guess the change is inevitable"

"This hotel is Amazing. If you want a tranquil and peaceful place close to Jaco Beach, this is the place. Beautiful pools, nice rooms and good Breakfast. Geiner was very friendly and helpful. He even suggested visiting some waterfalls close by even though we didn’t have the time to do this."

"Beautifully appointed rooms with private plunge pool and view of ocean. Staff very courteous. Breakfasts included in rate were excellent. We ate dinner at the hotel most nights for convenience and because the food and service was good. The main drawback of this hotel is that it is too far away from Santa Teresa and the main beaches to walk so you need to book taxis ( $20 each way), rent an ATV or rent a car. "

"We loved the beauty of the whole place. Lovely beaches, pool, restaurants and our room/ apt. On ground level was very nice.We had a rai forest shower with hot water, luxurious sheets and pillows with fridge, tv, coffee, etc."
