"The agency (Special Places) was very nice, but this unit was on the bottom floor with a view of a roof awning & glimpse of ocean. It’s one of the older buildings in a poorly planned resort area that has no Costa Rican vibe. The interior was dated, sad, and had padlocks on some cabinets. I was so disappointed and asked if there were any other options. We paid $100 more per night & stayed at the Oceanica. "
