"Communication was easy and fast with the owner, they have the option to leave a key in lockbox for you. This property was pretty big! The whole home sleeps at least eight people, if not more. There is an upstairs ( multiple bedrooms and 1 bath) and a downstairs, a full kitchen, sitting area, a dining area, and a little living room. "Such a beautiful property & great value!!! Unbelievable views from our room of the waterfall on property grounds. Photos of the property do not do it justice. We booked this very last minute due to a change of schedule due to rain & the host’s communication was very helpful. We were pleasantly surprised at how much we loved our change of plans. Not only was this property beautiful & full of hummingbirds, but Bajos del Toro was charming & had so much to offer. "

"An amazing property to stay at if you have a quick 24-36 hour layover in Costa Rica. The staff is polite and attentive, the rooms are incredibly designed to provide a cultural feel with eco sensitivities, and the best part is that the property has about 2-3 hours of hiking available on the grounds Will come back next time I'm flying through SJO"

Art like a museum

"Wonderful as usual!! Except, I showed up one hour before check-in and the person at the reception desk made me wait the hour instead of checking to see if the room was available. It hasn't a matter of cleaning or it not being ready she was completely inflexible. I found this to be an odd way to treat a guest. First time this happened to me at this hotel. Many staff members recognized me and one person who lives in the apartments. So I l9ve the hotel and zI complied. Sge saw me sitting ther for an hr and when I checked-in it wasn't a problem for me to get my room. If I hadn't gotten up to ask I don't think she would have assisted."
