"Very clean. Spacious lobby with several areas for gathering and chatting. Good breakfast and a surprisingly good evening happy hour, with not only beer and wine but also mixed drinks and hot food. Staff was all very pleasant and welcoming. Big parking garage with hotel entrances on every level. "

"Very interesting and historic property. The room was nice. Bathroom was very spacious. A couple of minor issues, though. The hot water tap of the bathroom sink had very low water pressure, and the faucet was leaking slightly. Also, the location of this property isn’t very convenient - it is not close to anything. But the price was very reasonable considering how clean, quiet, historic, and relatively upscale this hotel is. One of the most affordable options in Kansas City."
