"Our stay at Risonare was awful from start to finish. When we arrived they told us there would be a significant extra fee for our 1-year-old to stay with us (I was pretty sure we booked the reservation with a child included, but regardless, this is the only hotel out of 6 that we stayed at in Japan that charged extra for a child under 2 years old). "The place is clean, the bedrooms are spacious, the common rooms are cozy, the showers are high pressure, and the staff were very friendly. The only complaint is that the house dog situation was, for the time that I was there, a little concerning. They were quite vocal and unfriendly for the most part, apparently because they were in heat. I believe the staff when they say it's not always like that. But overall I greatly enjoyed Guest House Matsu so much that I kept wanting to spend time there...

"This place was very spacious and had everything we needed. 2 separated bedrooms, but could turn into 1 if needed. Kitchen was great, laundry share with bathroom, separate toilet. Very clean, private, convenient location in quiet neighbourhood. Easy check in. Felt safe and was just a really pleasant place to stay! I couldn’t work out the projector but we didn’t need it. Better than a hotel room as the kids had a bit more of space to occupy. Will book again if we are back in Osaka."
