"Interesting but not for everyone. We were looking for a place to spend the night on our way from Rome to Monaco, this place, although only a few miles from the freeway, it is located on a mountain with narrow roads that take almost 40 minutes to drive. The check in is by yourself, there are only 6 rooms and when we got there at 7 pm we were the only people in the whole building. "Absolutely lovely hotel in a stunningly restored Renaissance palazzo. We booked for one night and ended up staying three nights. Spotless clean, excellent service, and tasteful rooms in a scenic little town with few tourists. Ideal for day trips to Asti, Alba, Fossano, Cuneo, and other culturally relevant sites in the Piemonte. We fell in love with Mondovi, its excellent restaurants, and the calm genius loci.
