"If you are in Eugene to visit the University of Oregon Hayward Inn is a good choice. I wouldn't say the nearby dining options are great but they are good. Track Town Pizza right next door has very good pizza and next to Track Town Pizza is a Starbucks. I don't think of the area as being especially walkable because the hotel is located on Franklin Boulevard which is six Lanes wide and very busy"

"Stayed here numerous times on our way out of town. Long term parking is easy. Restaurant is nothing special but not bad. All the staff are great. Decor a bit dated but reasonably priced accomodations."

"I was super happy with my stay at this property. It was right on the prom with an ocean view. There was a cute little fireplace by the window to keep you warm while you looked at the ocean. Breakfast in the morning was really good and very well up-kept. Staff was polite and accommodating. "

"The service was great, everyone seemed enthusiastic to help from the vallet parking to housekeeping. It would have been nice to have free parking but no we had to pay that in addition to the room fee. That should be mentioned at the time of booking."

"My room was very clean and roomy, with the perfect view. In the evening when relaxing enjoying the fireplace that was a bonus. Everyone at the Surf land Hotel went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. I should mention their office is open 24/7 if you want or need anything someone is always available. I am looking forward to a future visit at your Hotel."
