"The Orcas Hotel is for people who like the charm of past century architecture and conditions and don't mind paying an arm and leg for it. I was desperate for accommodations for a couple of nights at the peak of summer, so grabbed the couple of nights available here. The first night I payed $195 for a bed, bath, TV and floor fan. The 2nd night I paid $100. for a bed, dresser, & bath down the hall. Not a good value, but they charge that much since they can. "

"We were lucky to score a lodge room in the busy month of August. The property is older but feels homey. We enjoyed our stay, dinner at Matthew’s BBQ, daily walks to the marina and kayaking. We made use of the fridge and coffee maker in the room and there’s plenty of parking. It felt very safe and there are some nice views of the water.
