"The apartment was in a perfect location to explore the old town, as well as being only a short walk from the metro and bridges to other parts of the city. It was easy to check in and out. The apartment itself was a wonderful, comfortable haven to return to after a day of exploring. It was good having the kitchen and a washing machine available. Not a problem for me but do be aware that it is up almost 60 steps, some of them quite steep, if mobility is an issue. "

"A fabulous small boutique hotel in a great central location for visiting major sights in Lyon. Hotel was clean , welcoming and tasteful . It is an " on demand " hotel as the staff put it so if you want water or kettle you have to request them and go and get them from reception. No frills or extras in the room , no slippers , dressing gown or fridge nor did we have a mirror in the room only one head and shoulders standard mirror in the bathroom which was a minor irritation. "Villa Florentine was fabulous!! The location is amazing, the views over Lyon are lovely and the location is perfect. We were greeted by very friendly staff with welcome drinks and pastries and then a 30 minute history lesson and chat with the manager Emmanuel. It really made us feel welcome and was wonderful. Our room was also upgraded which we appreciated. Staying at Villa Florentine was an experience we will remember and we would certainly go back and recommend this Relais et Chateau hotel. "
