"Poets Cove is a go to resort for us. It’s like being away from daily life. Staff are great. It is a bit dated, but improved from the last time we were there. The only real negative…the king bed was two twin beds together. Beautiful location, beautiful grounds, amazing restaurant. We’ll be back for our fifth time! "

"We have been here many times. We always have a good time. We invited another couple along and they enjoyed it too. Notes: 1. When I booked, they warned us that the wonderful pool would be closed for repairs until late October. We were going to be there in November. About a week before our arrival we got a notice that the pool would now be closed during our visit. "Everything was fantastic! We stopped to check in before we went to our concert at the Resort and Casino! Lash was there to check us in and out! He is so helpful and friendly. It is nice that checkout is at noon and breakfast is on until 10am. Most hotels seem to end breakfast quite early. The breakfast was also delicious! Waffles..omelettes..oatmeal...breakfast sandwiches etc. They have so much for breakfast...best one I have seen at a hotel ever! Lash was very helpful with breakfast as well...

"We lost power due to a windstorm and decided to head for the hills. We booked our trip last minute. This was our first Time at the property and we will definitely be back! The breakfast food was surprisingly good and had variety. The toiletries were really nice. All in all a GREAT trip! The ONLY thing we would have changed was the bed. The mattress was soft for us. "I have stayed here before, the room I stayed in this time needed some maintenance. Multiple holes in the tv stand which needs to be taller to see from the bed. the bed slides out from the wall while sitting in it to watch tv. AC unit cover missing and it is loud."

"Good clean place to stay. The Dinning room is closed for renovations. So while the breakfast is included; it’s “to go” and served to you to and you aren’t allowed behind the counter, so it’s a bit different then what most are used to doing. Loved our room, location was supper convenient as we were attending a function at NASWI. Would stay again (once the dinning room is opened up). FLY NAVY !"
