"Kelly the co-proprieter of the fold Gold Rush motel was super obliging when we asked for an early check in. Something many motels could learn from. The whole experience only a one night stay was very straight forward from woah to go. With a spacious and comfortable room with adequate power points and good facilities that were clean and in good condition. "There was nothing not to like, such a beautiful place, staff amazing, food amazing. When we return to Tasmania we will be staying there the entire time rather than 7 nights in different places. "It was a very pleasant stay. The Bistro is fantastic, the staff are very welcoming. The stairs to reach the accommodation floor are incredibly steep - if you have bad knees I would strongly suggest this isnt the place for you (I'm not sure these stairs would pass code anymore if they were built in this modern age). All up - a lovely little hotel that meets the brief - thanks team ❤️"

"Stayed in a cabin which suited us fine. We wanted a location between Queenstown and Cradle Mountain. It was a bit cosy for 3 adults but most of the time we were hiking or seeing the local sights. "

"Just a short 20 minutes drive to the cradle mountain national park area, our room was very comfortable with a big bath tub to relax in. The heater was great during colder night. There is a cafe across the street offer good selection of food but we mostly enjoyed cooking on the back veranda with our camp cooktop and eating with beautiful forest view. We saw pademelons showing up everyday in the back yard and they were the cutest. "

"We stayed in an executive room, just myself and my 9 year old son, for one night whilst visiting friends and family in Ulverstone. I would highly recommend staying in the executive rooms as they are much newer and don’t seem to have some of the issues of the older rooms. We never had any trouble. We had babies in both rooms beside us and never heard any noise all night. The rooms have been nicely renovated with a good shower, large tv, new AC unit and comfortable beds. Check in/check out...
