"VR Auckland City is in a good location, but didn't give guaranteed parking. Staff was vey helpful and polite. The kitchen s very convenient to have, but not adequately stocked, no sharp knife, the lid on the one pot was too small and no large spoons, spatulas etc. Although the room was spacious, it was very tired, cracks in the floor tile and sink, grout needs replacing. Even with the negatives, the room was still good value for the money, "

"Have to now pay for parking. This should be on the booking page so guests are aware of it before arrival. It would be a good idea if the cleaning staff have availability to a Phillips Screw Driver so the pot handles can be checked for tightness. The handles were loose, causing a dangerous situation. "

"Nice clean and quiet room. Found it unusual that there was not bottled water in the fridge. Water pressure was excellent, but fiund shower over bath an odd choice for a hotel room. Also, there was no body wash or hand wash in the rooms. Only some quite harsh soap."
