They are friendly and wonderful people. Their costumer service is the best in Carmel. We’ve stayed at the Hotel Carmichael and the other hotels in the area. "Unique, beautifully restored property with so many interesting things to look at. Very clean. Upscale amenities in room - toiletries, coffee, bathrobes, etc. Staff was super helpful and everyone was very personable. The Bottleworks District area right across the street offers lots to do and see as well with a theater, yoga, and a large indoor eating area with so many choices! You could spend the entire weekend and not even need your car (we did)! Speaking of cars - that would be the only potentially negative thing if anything at all… it’s the parking situation. They can’t help the super narrow street that the hotel sits on, but there is only one public garage even remotely close and it fills up quickly. By the time we arrived to check in, it was full. So really, your only choice is to utilize valet or park blocks away and carry all your luggage for blocks. Parking is going to set you back approx $48/day. So, that’s not insignificant. But, the experience, comfort and the food options are WORTH IT! "
