"With check in. Or until 4pm, you’d expectations to be ready. Arrived early and was told to come back at 4pm which I did. At that time I was told the room wasn’t ready. I was waiting around until 4.50pm. The people at the desk were very friendly and apologetic so nothing against them. However if your checking is as late as 4pm and you can get rooms ready on time there must be a shortage of staff. Other than that, the hotel was wonderful, just far enough out of the main centre but close enough to walk. Plenty of car parking space for cars. "

"This is a ski resort,but we were there in June. Nice rooms,excellent restaurant and very easy parking! Not much around the hotel itself,but it had a lot of activities. Pretty much halfway between Bergen and Oslo if you are driving. "

"Waaay too big for the facilities and services it offers. Has only two restaurants to cater the entire huge hotel so be prepared to wait. Gym/spa is packed and the lockers thus often quite dirty. The room service does not exist and you have to ask for towels explicitly which is odd for a spa. Equally odd is that there are no bathrobes or slippers offered. The service people are kind but very very young and inexperienced - usually just standing still. The "better spa" costs extra - the public pool is full of kids. Oh the kids - this place is filled with kids running and screaming - filled I tell you! It has literally everything you need, even if in poor quality, so it is good for families. Not for couples. The slopes are good though! It's easy to get around although the lifts can get crowded."
